LED Neck Reading Light
A flexible light that sits around your neck like headphones, with two adjustable warm LED heads. Made for reading in bed without the main light on.
👍 What’s good
- Three warmth settings — the warm one is easy on tired eyes
- USB-C charging, lasts about a week of bedtime reading
- Light lands on the page, not in your partner's face
- Weighs almost nothing
👎 What’s not
- Looks daft. You will be mocked.
- The arms can drift out of position if you move a lot
What it claims to do
It claims to give you focused, adjustable reading light with no hands and no disturbing anyone next to you.
What happened when I tested it
Two weeks of nightly reading, 30–45 minutes a time. Charged it once. My wife confirmed the glow next to her was barely noticeable on the warm setting.
What I liked
The warm light setting genuinely reduced eye strain compared to the bedside lamp, and I stopped losing my page angle trying to lean into the light.
What I didn’t like
The fashion statement. And if you roll over, the arms need a nudge back into place.
Price & value
Around £15 is right. Ignore £30+ versions — the extra money buys nothing.
Worth it or bin it?
Worth it. It solved a real problem — reading comfortably at night with older eyes — for about £15. One of my most-recommended finds.

Heated Eye Massager
Ten minutes of warm pleasant. Zero lasting benefit. A warm flannel costs nothing.
